Ways to give

There are variable ways to give to the different areas of work within our parish:

  1. Personally: You can give at the services on Sundays, or drop by the Parish Office during opening times.
  2. Bank Transfer or Standing order: You can transfer money directly from your account into the church account, using the following details: Account holder: “St Mary Magdalene’s Church”, account no: 81308203, bank sort code: 40-05-27, HSBC Bank PLC (Pall Mall Branch). If you have a bank account with money regularly going into it standing order is a very good way of giving. A set amount will be transfered into the parish account on a regular basis.
  3. By post: You can send your check to the parish office together with an information of the purpose of use. If you are UK tax payer please include a signed GIFT AID FORM.
  4. Online: You can conveniently send your credit or debit card donation via an accredited service on the internet directly to us. Please follow the instruction below.
If you are a UK tax payer please make sure that we have recieved a signed Gift Aid Declaration from you, which ia also abailable for download below. If you give online you can make this declaration during the payment process.

2. Tell us about your Donation

As givenow.org provide a free service (we do not pay any fee) it can take up to 30 days for your donation to be released to us. The money will then arrive in our general parish account. Please tell us about your gift and how you would like us to use it by sending you info via our online form >.

3. Your receipt

You will receive a receipt via email from Givenow.org's partner WorldPay with the subject "WorldPay CARD transaction Confirmation" confirming the payment. If you have chosen not to stay anonymous we also will send you an email confirmation.
