Part of our parish is St Mary Magdalene Academy, the brand new school fro children of primary and secondary age which opened in September 2007. It is on the site of the former St Mary Magdalene Primary School on Liverpool Road.

The Academy specialises in Humanities and Global Citizenship, its brand new buildings have state of the art facilities. The staff of the academy work for it to be a place of learning, achievement and enjoyment within the local community through its commitment to high educational standards, pastoral care, a Christian conviction and a global vision.
